Guild to SAMP AGS Sever

Aussie GameServer – The unofficial guide, by zsdg07.

Welcome to my guide to the best SA-MP server ever! I hope you find it helpful, and become a regular player on the server

Getting Started

The first thing to do when you join AGS, is to check the rules. This can be done by typing ‘/rules’ or going here, just because the administrators are nice people (sometimes), they won’t hesitate to kickban cheaters, hackers or rule breakers, so be a good player. Then you can register. This can be done by typing ‘/register (password)’. Do not forget your password, makes life easier for everyone. To login next time you join type ‘/login (password)’.

The objective

The objective can be found by typing ‘/objective’, but here’s my version:

The objective of the game mode on AGS is to level up to gain access to new weapons, new races, and new death matches. To get to the next level, you need a certain amount of experience (XP), there are 51 levels in total, and when you get to level 51, you unlock the minigun! (W00T!). This can be done by standing in ‘XP Spots’, doing races, or doing death matches. Although it is not a server based around killing, it is not against the rules to kill other players, unless they’re in a race.

XP Spots

XP spots are found in various locations around the map, and may be changed from time to time. The amount of XP given from a XP Spot varies, the easiest one to get to is at Grove St, the place you spawn on low levels. To use the XP Spot, simply stand in the red circle, the amount of XP will build up until it reaches maximum, and you will receive XP every 5 seconds.

Races

There are many races to do on the AGS server, with different requirements, and rather interesting names. Races charge you a fee to enter (ranging from $100 to $15000), some races can also only be done at a certain level. Generally, the higher the entry fee, the higher the level, and the longer the race, the more XP and money you will be given as a reward. Most races are done on land with a car or bike, but there is one boat race. To join a race simply type ‘/race join (id)’, the ID will be displayed when the race is announced. (make sure you are in the desired vehicle before joining the race, or you will not be teleported to the start line). When a race is going to start, a message will be displayed in the chat, telling you the entry fee, required level, name, and location. If you roll car during a race, or cannot finish for some reason, type ‘/race quit’. If you’re too slow, and don’t finish you will be disqualified. If you quit or get disqualified you will not receive a refund of the entry fee. If someone is racing, their name will be shown in pink.

NOTE: Killing racers, or interfering with a race is a ban-able offence.

Death matches

There are also a variety of death matches to do on AGS, in many different locations, and with different weapons sets. Death matches are similar to races, there is an entry fee, required level, and you also need to have more than one person join the death match to start it, unlike races. You will be rewarded for winning as well. Death matches will be announced in the chat, look for the ID and then you can enter it. To join a death match, type ‘/dm join (id)’. You can still join death matches after they’ve started, and quit at any time by typing ‘/dm quit’.

Basic Commands

AGS uses a modified version of the ‘Grand Theft Online’ game mode, and many commands have been changed, removed and added from the original scripts, so things like ‘/help’ or ‘/commands’ will not always be helpful.

Getting places…

There are a few places to teleport to, from stunt parks and war zones, to race tracks and derby arenas.

Here are a few…

War zones

/war (there’s a stunt park here to)

/swat

/deagle

/rpgwar

Stunts:

/nuts

Racetracks and Arenas

/derby

/race

/sultan

/dirtbike

Other:

/skydive

/exitwar

For more type ‘/telehelp’

More details on some of these places in the next section.

Gangs

You can create or join a gang on AGS, allowing you to work with other players as a team, and use gang chat to plan your actions with them. This will change the colour of your name so it is easier to identify separate gangs.

For more info, type ‘/gang commands’

Cool Stuff

Slick’s Autos

There are lots of things on AGS not found anywhere else, like The one and Only, Slick’s Autos! Scripted by our very own [AGS]Slick, this modshop will allow you to modify almost anything, from quad bikes to monster trucks and everything in between!

There are currently 3 Slick’s Autos placed around the map, one in LS, near the airport, one in LV, north-west corner, and one near SF, when you drive out of SF from using the highway, its sort of on the grass, placed sort of randomly in my opinion.

The Stunt park(s)

There are two stunt parks on the AGS server, each with they’re own special things. One of them can be found at ‘/nuts. This stunt park has NRGs to stunt with, and lots of things to stunt on, from car parks to loops and more! The other stunt park is found at ‘/war’ which is one of the war zones, you may find yourself running away from other slightly more bloodthirsty players to get to it. This stunt park has a wall ride, and a rather large half pipe, the half pipe is sort of hidden in the corner. When at ‘/war’ remember that player may still try to kill you while you’re stunting, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be killed at ‘/nuts’.

The War zones

There are 4 war zones on AGS. They are ‘/swat’, ‘/war’ and ‘/deagle’.

‘/swat’

This war zone is set in a small-ish house, with places to hide, and places to take cover. You are given some fairly strong weapons, and a useful one. The strong ones being the M4, Combat Shotgun and Desert Eagle, and the useful one being a samurai sword. A player cannot shoot while you are slashing at them, so you could slash at them while a friend guns them down, team work is always useful.

‘/war’

This war zone is joined to a stunt park, but it doesn’t mean it’s a place to have fun. Complete with exploding barrels, and a nice set of weapons, this truly is a war zone. The weapons are Sawn-off Shotguns, a Desert Eagle, some Tec9s, and a knife. Used correctly, these weapons can be quite devastating.

‘/deagle’

If you haven’t guessed from the name already, you’re given a Desert Eagle and that’s all. The war zone is on one of the docks in San Fierro. This war zone takes precision, and only the skilled will succeed. It’s always useful to be higher up, so find the stairs and get on the roof.

‘/rpgwar’

If you like explosions, one-hit kills* and lots of fun, this is the war zone for you. Armed with nothing but a RPG, and set really really really high in the air, this war zone is quite chaotic, but always great fun!

NOTE: You can’t simply go into a war zone, and walk out or teleport out to keep the weapons, you have to level up to get them.

Buying Spawn Weapons

You can buy weapons which you will spawn with every time you die, to do this go to any Ammunation store, and stand in the large red circle. Then type ‘/wl’ to see the weapons you’ve unlocked, and it will give you a list, each weapon will have an ID next to it. Remember the ID and then type ‘/wb (id) (ammo)’, where ‘(id)’ is the weapon ID, and ‘(ammo)’ is the amount of ammunition you want.
